A small group of strippers and pole dancers standing up for their rights organized a protest in Wellington, New Zealand, and asked for help from members of parliament.

The organizer and spokeswoman, known as Margot Embargo, asked lawmakers to finally understand that

those working in the adult entertainment industry are vulnerable to abuse and need more legal protection.

Erotic performers, pole and striptease dancers have encountered a lot of abuse and unpleasant situations while doing their striptease jobs, and they believe that it is time to improve the situation of such exotic dancers.
